"I still think HD of BR is the greatest, but I have a suggestion. When I took delivery of my Ultra, I was a bit disappointed in the ride; bumps seemed to hit hard. After reading the manual, I realized I didn't have air in my shocks. I purchased a shock air pump and brought it up to 50 lbs(I'm almost 300 pounds). The ride was like day and night--the bike has such a good ride now. Suggestion: come up with a "new owner's kit" to include a shock pump, maybe a blow dryer for when we wash the bike, and a couple of other things, like wax, chrome polish, etc. Had my Ultra cost an extra $100-$150 and I received a "new owner's kit" I would have been happy. The dealership would have not lost money and I would have had things I need right away. Also, please add air in the shocks before delivery or, better yet, have the customer use the pump for the first time and let them do it. It might be a nice touch. Just a suggestion. I still love my new Harley!"

"My wife goes into the BR HD Dealership with a friend to by birthday present (for the friend). I called them and was going to meet them there and just look at the new 08's. Bob Porter was the salesman (Highly Recommend him). Wasn't pushy, but very knowledgable, just asked what I liked in a bike, stated what I was interested in, showed me the Heritage Softail Classic, I really didn't like the spoke rims, so lead me over to the parts counter to show me my options. (Can't remember the Parts guys name, but extremely knowledgable) found the rims I wanted, stated how long it would take to order, and within 30 minutes later Cale had me in the Finance office, and 30 minutes after that, I was a new Harley Owner. " I purchased my 07 Electra Glide Classic from B.R. store-Vinnie was salesperson. He was excellent-very knowledgeable and truly a joy to deal with. I wanted to change exhaust, and after speaking with Wayne at the Hammond store, he assisted in the purchase of Rinehart slip-ons and the HD Race tuner. I couldn't be more happy with them. "After purchasing a few new automobiles and the experiences I had trying to get work done under warranty, I was real leary of adding the 5 year bike plan, and the 2 year tire and wheel plan to my purchase of a new Harley. I've been pleasantly surprised. I recently had a real wheel replaced because of chrome flaking and I told the service department about a nail I had pulled out of the tire. The tire didn't leak air but apparently they were concerned about the location of where the nail was because when I returned to pick up my bike, I had a new rim and a brand new tire, all at no cost to me. A big thanks out to Kristie. My next Harley will also have the extended warranty, and tire and wheel coverage."

"We chose HD of BR because of the friendly people and the wonderful service we got when we bought our bikes. We could not get any service like this around where we live. We shopped around and called Kale and told him what we found and he laughed and said to come and see him. We went picked out two bikes,a sportster and an ultra classic on Wednesday evening. On Thursday evening Kale called,told me the note and I could not believe what he said. "I wanted to send an email to Malcolm. I have bought three new Harleys at this dealership since 1997 and have never had a problem with service until recently. My bike was in the shop from May 1st through May 4th for some warranty work. Last weekend (May 20th and 21st) was the first opportunity I had to ride it since it was in the shop. On Sunday, I broke down in French Settlement, La. and had to call a friend to pick me up with a trailer. Monday, May 22nd, I dropped the bike off at your dealership. I thought the problem could have been attributed to the previous work that was done and expected the service department to at least look at it to see what had happened. On Wednesday, the 24th, I called to see if it had been looked at and was informed by one of the service desk guys (not Sam) that my "appointment date" was June 20th. Needless to say, I was not positively excited. I want to thank Donna, Sam and Greg Robichaux for taking a personal interest in my recent "Service-Related" experience and getting the results that I have been accustom to receiving. If it were not for these three dedicated and sincerely caring individuals, I might possibly have never set foot in this dealership again. Sam is a true asset to your service organization and I hope you appreciate his dedication. He possesses a quality that many in the service department do not. I'm not sure what Sam's official title is, but it should be "Customer Service Relations Manager.""

"Well, it was time to have some work done on our H.D. and as usual we rode to Baton Rouge Harley Davidson and went into the service department. Calculated our miles and said, well it is time to do some things. After discussing different options with the professional staff we gave them the keys and said we'll see you later. "We went to 9 bike dealerships including 3 other HD dealerships, and bought from here because we felt welcomed and felt like eveyone we spoke with loved their job and wanted us to love our bile just as much. I think if we had ever said that we did not LOVE our bike, anyone that we dealt with would have said "Don't buy it. We'll find the right one." It was more than a purchase. I felt like handing out cigars for our new baby, and that excitement was shared by the whole shop. We routinely drive to BR for service even though there are 2 HD shops closer. The personal service sold us on Harley Davidson of Baton Rouge."

"We have bought two bikes from H-D of Baton Rouge and one from another dealership. I can say without a doubt that buying a bike somewhere else was a terrible mistake on our part! The other dealership management were not very professional and their service department was not even close to being on the same level as the master technicians at H-D of BR. Lucky for us, the guys at BR accepted us back with no questions asked and I can promise you that we will NEVER deal with anyone else! That is, until their sister store in Hammond opens in the summer!"
