CAAWS - The Capital Area Animal Welfare Society is a non-profit organization committed to the well-being of animals in the Baton Rouge community by adopting homeless animals, teaching the community responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals, and promoting the practice of spay/neuter at all times. Our ultimate goal is to have Baton Rouge be a model in the South where all adoptable animals find loving homes.

Children's Miracle Network - the alliance of premier hospitals for children - is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping kids by raising funds for 170 children's hospitals across North America. Each year these non-profit hospitals provide the finest care, research and community outreach to help millions of children with diseases and injuries of every kind.

Muscular Dystrophy Association is a voluntary health agency — a dedicated partnership between scientists and concerned citizens aimed at conquering neuromuscular diseases that affect more than a million Americans. MDA combats neuromuscular diseases through programs of worldwide research, comprehensive medical and community services, and far-reaching professional and public health education. MDA of Greater Baton Rouge assists over 400 local families. These families are from the nine parish area including Tangipahoa, Iberville, Ascension, East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Livingston, Point Coupe, East Feliciana and West Feliciana.

National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF) - Alopecia Areata is an autoimmune disease in which the body attacks its own hair follicles and causes hairloss which can be complete. Spay Baton Rouge is a not-for-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to decreasing the number of companion animals (pets) euthanized in our community.

The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank serves as a clearinghouse for collecting, storing and distributing food to our 100+ member agencies throughout twelve Louisiana parishes.

Motorcycle Awareness Campaign. MAC has about 300 members from around Southern Louisiana. Most of the membership is currently in the Baton Rouge, Hammond and Lafayette regions. Other chapters are expected to be formed soon in other Louisiana cities, as well as Arkansas and Texas. We are growing every day, and are having an impact! Motorcycling is already safer because M.A.C. exists! But there is still much to be done. You can be a part of this grassroots effort to make motorcycling safer for all of us who ride.
