Your Harley® Engine can be reborn in Milwaukee!
Our technicians remove your motor and ship it in a specially designed crate back to where it was born: Harley’s Capitol Drive, Milwaukee plant. They completely disassemble your engine, inspect all parts and replace any that do not meet their quality standards. Your engine is then re-chromed, re-powder coated, and reassembled to factory specifications. Then it’s hot tested on their equipment and returned to Harley-Davidson of Baton Rouge where we reinstall it in your frame. (We can also install any additional upgrades or accessories you may want at this time.) After a final tune and test ride, you get your bike back reborn and ready to ride – with a one-year limited warranty on all parts and labor on your re-manufactured engine. The Remanufacturing Process:
1.
Engine is received and verified that it matches the order.
2.
Complete disassembly of the engine is performed and inspected
immediately.
3.
All other components are washed, inspected and placed into the
pool of similar components for Remanufacturing.
4.
All painted components have complete paint removal and are sent to
the powder coat operation.
5.
All engines are assembled using a line assembly process. This
process utilizes many DC electric guns for the most accurate torque control
available in the industry.
6.
All engines are hot tested. All engines are brought to minimum
temperature and time. The oil pressure is verified and the Powertrain
Technician evaluates it for sound quality.

Reasons why YOU as a customer should use
the Harley-Davidson
Remanufacturing Program:
- OEM Specifications: Customer Engines will be
remanufactured to factory specifications, by highly trained factory
technicians. The service is available for all 1340 Evolution engines from
1984 introduction to 1999 model year configurations, as well as TC 88
& TC88B Engines powertrains in 1450 and 1550
versions. They will be remanufactured in either Black
& Chrome, Silver Polished, or Silver and Chrome woith
limited exceptions. As part of the remanufacturing processes, each engine
is "hot tested" before it leaves Harley-Davidson.
- Warranty: A Harley-Davidson
remanufactured engine has a 12-month, unlimited mileage warranty. Some
restrictions do apply. *** Warranty remains with the engine when the
vehicle is sold. NOTE: No warranty will be provided when the engine is
installed by the retail customer. All work must be performed by an
authorized Harley-Davidson dealer.
- Reduced Downtime in the Repair
Shop: Process
time at the factory, including ship time normally takes two weeks.
- Flexible Financing is Available: The Engine Remanufacturing
Finance Program has been specially designed for riders looking for an
affordable way to breathe new life into their motorcycle... especially in
today's economy. Customers with 1340cc Evolution engine motorcycles
(manufactured between 1984-1999, and the
2000FXR4) TC 88 99* can now finance the remanufcturing
of their engine as well as additional Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor
Accessories and Motor Parts. Harley-Davidson Credit's (HDC) Engine
Remanufacturing Finance Program will allow customers to have one low
monthly payment covering:

are available for all '99-later Screamin' Eagle CVO
platform based engines and all 1450cc fuel-injected Touring and Softail models equipped with the Screamin'
Eagle Stage I Big-Bore Performance Kit. Carbureted 1550 engines are not
eligible due to emissions laws.
Prices are U.S. MSRP and include Con-Way® shipping to and from the
Harley-Davidson Powertrain Operations Facility - Capitol Drive in Wauwatosa,
Wisconsin.
Labor costs and any required gaskets/lubricants required to remove and
